Yoga Alliance 200 hours.

The Sierra Wholistic Yoga Therapy Training follows the Sierra Bender Empowerment Method (SBEM), this training is more then just a yoga training it is a method that has been proven by American University and University of Puerto to help clients heal beyond yoga. The Sierra Bender Empowerment Method (SBEM) is a multi modal approach that synthesizes the disciplines of modern medicine, science, indigenous wisdom, holistic health, exercise physiology, quantum physics, nutrition, yoga therapy and the psychology of trauma/addiction/sexual abuse. The SBEM infuses clinical studies with holistic intelligence.
   

Cerification Requirements: Karma Yoga / Service of Self 
20 Hours Community Service for Any Women or Girl’s Organization Examples: Girl Scouts, Brownies, Rape Facilities, Safe Houses, Schools & Foster Homes (Girls Only)

Books can be found in any major book store or library, a friend, or shared amongst all the fellow participating students.
   

Other

A.) If a student misses any sessions it is the students responsibility to make up the hours at students expense and time with the same sort of workshop to replace the hours.

Example: if they miss anatomy they have to replace their anatomy hours at their own expense.

B.) Only 2 classes can be missed. More than 2 classes missed results in failure to meet the criteria for conferring the teacher training certificate, unless under extenuating circumstances to be determined by the instructor.

C.) Promptness is required. Tardiness will highly reflect certification.  If there are more than 3 tardies it will reflect on teacher-training certificate.

D.) First payment deposit is requested at the time of application. Balance due on payment plan listed above. No refunds

E.) Compare this certification training to other name brand certification programs and see the value of the knowledge and the level of training contained in this program.

F.) A certification is given when all requirements are completed.  No one is given a certificate unless you have done the work. Please know that just because you paid for this certification does not mean you get one. It is earned and your work is a reflection of the type of teacher you will be.

Professional Core Instructor™ Annual Licensing Requirement Includes The Following:

  • Marketing & Advertising Internationally with SierraBender.com

  • Listing on the Professional Core Instructor™ Network Page (Bio and Professional Headshot, Location of School or Business Name and Web Address Posted on SierraBender.com Website)

  • SBEM Professional Core Instructor™ Teleconferences (two annually)

  • Updated Reports of the Sierra Bender Empowerment Method® (SBEM)

CE Credits

  • To Maintain Your Professional Core Instructor™ Certification You Must Complete 30 Credits Yearly

  • Minimum of 15 Credits Mandatory with Sierra Bender Empowerment Method® (SBEM) Workshops, Retreats or Trainings

  • 15 Credits with Yoga Alliance and/or Credited CE Courses in the Subject of Holistic, Fitness, Health and Healing
CE's Available When You Assist Sierra Bender In Any Workshop, Retreat Or Training. Assistants Are Chosen By Experience.
